This site is currently under construction.  Look at some of the changes (2002, 2003, 2004) we have made so far! Please check in often as new pages and links will be added daily.

"If we ever forget that we are One Nation under God, then we will be a Nation gone under."
Ronald Reagan

Do not forget our troops!  Armed Forces Tribute is one way to help your family remember our military members in their prayers daily.  Cell for Soldiers is a wonderful way YOUR family may show your support for our troops!  The goal of this noble attempt is to help our soldiers serving in Iraq and elsewhere pay for calls home. The plan is to provide as many soldiers as possible with pre-paid cell phones or calling cards.  Be sure to send your "thank you" to the military and be a good example to your children!

New Pages ... Flag Day (14 June 2004) ... Flag Day is fast approaching.  Take the time to teach your scholars the meaning of the flag's colors, how to care for the flag, meaning behind folding the flag, what citizenship means, and more.  Flag Day Activities offers puzzles, hands on activities, analogies, alliteration, onomatopoeia, word power (anagrams), the pledge to the Christian flag, the Christian flag's anthem (including music and lyrics), pledge of allegiance and more!  Flag Day Poems offers several poems for your scholars to begin to learn how others in the past have looked upon Old Glory and what she means.  Teach your scholars Christian songs to sing at Flag Day Songs (includes PDF file worksheets, lyrics and music so you may sing along!)  Be sure to check out Patriot Coloring for coloring pages that will make Flag Day come alive for your scholar!

New Pages ... D-Day ... Learn about the historical significance of this day.  D-Day Activities offers puzzles, analogies, alliteration, onomatopoeia, word power (anagrams) and more!  Sing some rousing Christian songs for D-Day Music!  D-Day Movies ... need some movies to help explain D-Day?  Check out these movies!  Be sure to check out Patriot Coloring, Patriot Music, and Patriot Prose/ Poetry for even more options to make this holiday come alive for your family!  Most importantly, learn what the Bible has to say about soldiers, protection, siege, war, honor, and duty!  Have some fun with Military Humor and learn what has been stated in the past with Military Quotes!

New Pages ... Pinckney-Shortt Southern Baptist Convention Resolution ... A call for education and action !  (This is currently under heavy construction!)

New Page ... Note Taking Helps ... A gradual, easy way to teach your scholars how to be proficient note takers over time.

New Pages ... Parody ... A new section has been added to Literary Special Effects !  Learn about this interesting literary technique (includes PDF file worksheet).  Several of Guy Wetmore Carryl's hilarious parodies are included for your scholar's enjoyment (entertainment?).
