Homeschooling Parent(s) April Fool Activities The following activities do not have to be limited to just April Fools Day. In fact, these activities may be great motivational techniques to motivate homeschooling parents!

1) A Whoopee Cushion Purchase a whoopee cushion. They are fairly inexpensive at only 50 cents to 75 cents per cushion. Moreover they last SEVERAL years. After distracting your scholars from schoolwork, be sure to say,
2) Remote Control Whoopee Cushion Using a remote control whoopee cushion is similar in concept to #1 EXCEPT as a parent/teacher you have more options with the remote control. You can be in another room and still activate the whoopee cushion as long as you have a clear path to point the remote control devise to the whoopee cushion sound device. The only problem the remote control whoopee cushion's sounds are not as "juicy" as a regular whoopee cushion. Again, after your scholars have been distracted from schoolwork, be sure to say,
3) String, Ribbon, or Yarn Get a piece of string, ribbon, or yarn. Next, sneak up on your scholars as they are studying ... quietly oh so quietly ... and gently & lightly rub your scholar's skin across the back of their arm, on the forehead, etc. with the string, ribbon, or yarn. Be sure to time to see how long it takes before your scholar knows what you are doing. This is a hoot. Then, again, you say,
4) Contact Solution Bottle If you wear contacts, you are blessed. Why? Simple ... NEVER throw out the contact solution bottle. Why? They make the GREATEST squirt guns invented. What is even better is no one KNOWS it is you that is squirting them. You can be clear across the room and squirt your scholars. The result will be your scholars will look up and wonder where the water came from. If you can control your laughter, this can go on for quite some time. I have been known to be able to draw it out for at least a half hour! It's great! Then, when caught, say,
5) Plastic Plant Squirt Bottles Plastic plant squirt bottles are fairly inexpensive and may generally be purchased two for a dollar. It is a great investment. Be sure that your plastic plant squirt bottle has only had water in it. Again, sneak up on your scholars oh so quietly, and gently mist them. When caught, be sure to say,
6) Stinky Perfume Stinky perfume is a wonderful way to annoy your scholars. Stinky perfume may be used in the same way as the plastic plant squirt bottles. Just be sure you aim the stinky perfume around the knee or belly area. When caught, be sure to say,
