A Prayer For Our Troops

God, hold our troops in Thy loving hands.
Protect them as they protect us.
Bless them and their families for the selfless acts
They perform for us in our time of need.
Amen !

A Military Christmas

Toys For Tots The mission of the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program is to collect new, unwrapped toys during October, November and December each year and distribute those toys as Christmas gifts to needy children in the community in which the campaign is conducted.  The primary goal of Toys for Tots is to deliver, through a shiny new toy at Christmas, a message of hope to needy youngsters that will motivate them to grow into responsible, productive, patriotic citizens and community leaders.

Operation Christmas Stocking As their web site states:  There are many thousands of troops defending our country, helping to protect us from further acts of terrorism, and also our right to freedom.  We wish to do everything possible to repay those brave men and women and to try to ensure that the time they spend all those miles away from home is as endurable as possible.  They are sometimes in the most terrible conditions, which they endure with hardly a word of complaint.
